Adam Miller
Adam Miller was born November 26th 1984 in Plano, Texas. He is right handed pitching prospect in the Cleveland Indians organization. For the pas couple of years he has been considered to be the Indians top prospects but injuries have so far derailed him from making his major league debut.
He has a fastball that sits in the 92-95 range but in the Dominican Winter league has been hitting 97 MPH. He also has a plus slider which allows him to rack up a lot of strikeouts. He also has a sinker that sits about 91-92 range which induces a lot of ground balls. One of the best parts about Adam Miller how is not just his stuff its his composure on the mound and the control of his pitches he possesses.
The only knock on Miller is he can't seem to stay healthy. This year it was a reappearing blister that has kept him out of the majors. He has yet to make his debut in the majors as of the 2008 season.
He looks to be opening 2009 in the Columbus bullpen and hopefully make it to the big leagues. I could see him being Joba Chamberlain to the Yankees in 2007 or this past year David Price to the American League Champion Rays.
