Trevor Crowe

Trevor Crowe was born on November 17th 1983 in Portland, Oregon. He is a switch hitting outfield prospect in the Cleveland Indians organization. He spent most of last season in AA Akron before being promoted to AAA.

The strengths of Trevor Crowe would have to be his plate discipline, his really good speed, and ability to bounce back. After an attempt to move Trevor to 2nd Base in 2006 went horribly, Trevor went into an offensive funk. He was looking like he was going to become a complete bust. But in the second half of the 2007 he bounced back and found his groove. He got off to a slow start to the 2008 season as well but quickly bounced out of it and got a promotion to AAA Buffalo.

In 2008 between AA and AAA Crowe hit .302/.381/.485 with 9 homeruns, 41 RBI and 18 stolen bases.

Crowe looks to open the 2009 season in a very good OF for the Columbus Clippers along with Michael Brantley and Matt Laporta. He has a chance to make it to the majors and possibly push Grady for his coveted lead off spot.
